The project was a rolling re-fit of all the floors throughout the building to re-stack the publishing groups. The Time Inc project was split over 5 separate phases (between 3 - 6 floors per phase) to enable business continuity, with the building still operational.
CHP was instructed on this project on a Contract Administration and Cost Planning and Management basis. The services that were provided included: initial cost advice, comprising estimating, cost planning and value engineering for each phase; procurement and contract documentation; supervision of the tender process and providing bid placing reports. Also, CHP carried out change control, providing cost options for client’s changes and monthly reports forecasting of total out-turn cost.
