Pearie Law is a 6-turbine wind farm located just outside Livingston to the west of Edinburgh. The total generating capacity of the site is 19.2MW, which according to EDF and the latest Energy use statistics of the UK, will power an estimated 11,600 homes. Individual turbine rating is 3.2MW, with a 75m hub height, 103m diameter blades and a tip height of 125m. This project was commissioned in January 2017.

CHP was involved with initial investment appraisal stage to close out of the final accounts. CHP provided construction related cost planning, cost management and cost reporting services. CHP managed the procurement of the Balance of Plant works contractors and was responsible for the commercial management of all construction operations.

The site required innovative solutions for the construction of access tracks and crane hardstandings in areas of deep peat
