CHP worked on two projects for Nomura in New York and New Jersey. These projects were phased and comprised a new data centre fit-out and their headquarters building fit-out. CHP provided commercial management, project audit and commercial procedures services throughout the project timeline.

Data Centre

 

Phase one of the existing data centre upgrade and expansion scope included 3,100sqft of renovations to the existing server rooms and the adaptation of current conference space into a new data centre/whitespace, which included updates to existing MEP infrastructure and life safety equipment. Phase two was a 10,000sqft renovation of existing disaster recovery space into new data centre/whitespace with new MEP infrastructure in conjunction with 5,000sqft of exterior mechanical and electrical system upgrades. The third phase included the relocation of the Client’s data centre to a new location that included 10,750sqft of dedicated datacentre/whitespace and a Network Operation Centre.

Headquarters

 

Relocation of Nomura’s US HQ from downtown New York City to a midtown location of approximately 800,000sqft.  The project consisted of decommissioning existing space and construction/ buildout of new space.  The project was a combination of infrastructure works, trading and non-trading office space and amenities spaces over 15 floors.
