The Dublin Airport Terminal 2 was designed to meet DAA's objectives of expanding passenger capacity to 35 million annually by creating a new terminal which would be both a landmark building and a 21st century gateway into Ireland.

We acknowledge the excellent service which CHP provided, and we are grateful for their essential contribution to the success of the project
Peter Hill, Director at Mace

CHP was appointed by Mace to assist in the commercial management of the project. One of the main challenges to the team was to maintain unobstructed and safe operations, for both air and land side works. These were of the utmost importance and they involved ever-changing logistical requirements which dictated the planning and programming of the construction works. CHP provided expert analysis of the cost implications, working with the planners to model different approaches to site organisation and assess changing requirements. This enabled the Mace team to present fully analysed options to the Client.
The logistical changes inevitably impacted upon the major contractors, resulting in complex final account negotiations for which CHP provided high level assistance and expertise.
