The client had acquired a new shop location situated at 870 Madison Avenue, New York City, of roughly 4,000sqft of retail space, split over three floors. The scope of the work included: soft and structural demolition, new slab openings with structural support, new feature staircase, luxury finishes throughout, and the installation of a new MEP system including security, voice and data. The façade also received a lift with new awnings and a deep clean of the masonry.
CHP was instructed by the client to cover all Cost Management Services from pre-construction through to close-out. CHP undertook both procurement and trade package buyouts for the project and provided support through: budgeting and change orders; issues and risk advice; payment authorisations; invoice trackers and cost reports; negotiation and settlement of all change orders; and the provisions of financial close for all aspects of the project.
