ServiceInvestment Appraisal, Procurement and Commercial Management; Pre & Post Contract

This project included the extension of 2 turbines to the original Burnfoot site comprising a 13-turbine wind farm situated in Clackmannanshire, just east of Stirling, between 2013 and 2014. The additional 2 turbines added an extra 4.05MW capacity to the site that creates a grand total of 42.3MW, which is estimated to power around 26,000 homes. The individual turbine rating of the two additions is 2.05MW, with a 59m hub height and 82m diameter blades.

CHP was involved from initial investment appraisal stage to close out of the final accounts. CHP provided construction related cost planning, cost management and cost reporting services, as well as managing the procurement of the Balance of Plant works contractors. CHP was also responsible for the commercial management of all construction operations.
