Barmoor is a 6-turbine wind farm, located just outside Berwick-upon-tweed, Northumberland. Commissioned in December 2014, the site has a generating capacity of 12.0MW, which has been estimated at being capable of powering around 7,000 homes a year. Individual turbine rating is 2.0MW, with a 65m hub height and 90m diameter blades.
CHP was involved from the initial investment appraisal stage through to close out of the financial accounts. CHP provided construction related cost planning, cost management and cost reporting services. CHP managed the procurement of the Balance of Plant works contractors and was responsible for the commercial management of all construction operations.
